What is an argument online?

Hi guys! Today we're gonna be looking into this argument I found online. I chose this because of how childish the people sound arguing, It made me chuckle a little bit.
This is a bad argument because of the way the people are attacking each other. They are being rude towards each other with out actually arguing about the main point. It is also very condescending throughout which created hostility and pointless conversation.

With this argument in mind lets go over some ideas and rules that could help an online argument progress better.
1. Don't attack the person, just speak your point
2. Don't be condescending
3. Be aware that this is a person you are talking to, humanize them
4. Don't argue to just argue
5. Actually look into what you're trying to argue

 Hi everyone! I found the information from this week so interesting. It was interesting to look into those escalator models that appear to be one direction. It was interesting to me because I feel like there is a more cycle like approach to this, especially when you get into arguments with loved ones.  This weeks information was all about how we as people interact and the way relationships develop or fall apart. Oversharing Online and the Way Social Media Affects Mental Health

 This week we were asked to answer some questions about social media and social networking.  Image from Rise One that caught my eye was the question about an optimal number of "friends" to improve mental health, something I want to bring up in this discussion is the idea that a certain number of "likes" or "shares" will also improve your mental health, but I believe some what of the opposite.
